Santanoni An Adirondack Great Camp

Today we are changing some gears and going to post about a Great camp in the Adirondack mountains of New York State.

This is an Adirondack great camp created by the Pruyns in the early 1900's at the edge of the High Peaks of the Adirondacks in Newcomb,NY

It's a 5 mile wagon ride into the main camp, the farm and garden are about a mile into the preserve

Imagine, it was once 12 hours by horse and wagon from Albany into Santanoni a hundred years ago
